The Bayraktar AKINCI UCAV, formidable twin-engine aircraft that stands as a testament to modern innovation, offering an array of sophisticated capabilities tailored for long-range ISTAR missions. Having embarked on its maiden flight on 6 December 2019, the Bayraktar AKINCI seamlessly integrated into the Turkish military's inventory on 29 August 2021. Since its induction, this remarkable aircraft has been deployed in operational theaters, showcasing its exceptional versatility and effectiveness thanks to the successful integration of numerous indigenously-developed air-to-ground and air-to-air munitions.

Equipped with foldable wings, the Bayraktar TB3 UCAV is the world’s first armed unmanned aerial vehicle capable of taking off and landing on short-runway vessels such as the TCG Anadolu. This groundbreaking platform, which successfully completed its maiden flight on October 27, 2023, performed its first takeoff from and landing on the TCG Anadolu on November 19, 2024—making the Bayraktar TB3 the first and only UAV to land on a short-runway vessel. As Türkiye’s indigenous UCAV, the Bayraktar TB3 features BLOS communication, enabling operation from vast distances.

Türkiye's first original and indigenous UCAV Bayraktar TB2, a groundbreaking UAV, was integrated into the Turkish security forces' arsenal in 2014. Armed with intelligent munitions in 2015, the Bayraktar TB2 became a cornerstone in Türkiye’s counterterrorism efforts. From the 2016 to today, the Bayraktar TB2 has consistently delivered, neutralizing terrorist threats and safeguarding Türkiye’s borders. The Bayraktar TB2 played a crucial role in supporting Libya’s legitimate government, achieving significant success. It was a game-changer during Azerbaijan’s 2020 Karabakh liberation campaign, gaining global attention. In the Ukraine-Russia war that began in February 2022, it became a symbol of heroism for the Ukrainian people.

The platform supports autonomous takeoff and landing, as well as semi-autonomous cruise capabilities, enhancing operational flexibility in complex environments. Its advanced flight control system enables features like automatic route tracking, target detection, circling over points of interest, and autonomous return-to-home, making it highly effective for tactical and strategic missions alike.

The Bayraktar Mini Unmanned Aerial Vehicle System is a pinnacle of reliability and intelligent technology tailored for short-range surveillance missions. Engineered to excel in the most demanding environments, the Bayraktar Mini UAV embarked on its maiden flight in October 2006 and has been serving with distinction since its official deployment in 2007. In 2012, it marked a significant milestone by becoming the first UAV ever exported by Türkiye, with its sale to Qatar. Baykar has since exported the aircraft to numerous countries. The Bayraktar TB2 is Türkiye’s first fully indigenous and exported UAV, trusted with over 100,000 operational sorties in the Turkish Armed Forces.

KEMANKEŞ 1

The KEMANKEŞ 1 is a state-of-the-art mini intelligent cruise missile developed by Baykar for precise strikes on strategic targets. Inspired by legendary Turkish archers, it is designed to integrate with Baykar's UCAVs, including the Bayraktar AKINCI, TB2, and TB3. Equipped with a powerful jet engine, the KEMANKEŞ 1 operates autonomously and navigates complex missions with an AI-supported autopilot. Its standout feature is the Artificial Intelligence Assisted Optical Guidance System, enabling pinpoint accuracy against high-value targets deep in hostile territory, making it a powerful tool in modern warfare scenarios.

KEMANKEŞ 2

The KEMANKEŞ 2 is an advanced, fully indigenous mini intelligent cruise missile developed by Baykar for precision strikes on high-value strategic targets. Featuring vehicle-based and RATO launch capabilities, it conducts autonomous missions via an AI-supported autopilot system. With a flight endurance of around one hour and powered by a domestically produced jet engine, it can reach deep into enemy territory. Its AI-assisted optical cruise system enables accurate targeting in all weather, day or night. Resistant to electronic warfare, KEMANKEŞ 2 remains effective thanks to its integrated anti-jamming technology.

Electro-Optical Reconnaissance, Surveillance, and Targeting Systems are vital components in modern ISR and strike missions, functioning effectively both day and night. They support target detection, damage assessment, and artillery fire correction across various UAV altitudes—low, medium, and high. Equipped with wide/narrow FOV daylight cameras, MWIR, LWIR, SWIR sensors, and laser modules (designators, rangefinders, illuminators), these systems deliver stabilized imagery regardless of UAV motion. Features include automatic and multi-target tracking, GPS-assisted operations, and integrated support for laser-guided munitions with high-power targeting capabilities.

Bayraktar Imaging Package

The Bayraktar Imaging Package is a next-generation aerial intelligence and mapping system developed for integration with Baykar UAVs and manned aircraft. It captures ultra-high-resolution imagery (up to 1 cm/pixel) and can map up to 4,000 km² per day at 7 cm/pixel resolution within 24 hours. Designed for time-sensitive missions like disaster response and border monitoring, it uses AI to detect, classify, and analyze targets in real time. Operating at altitudes up to 30,000 feet, and equipped with EO/IR sensors, it enables rapid transition from wide-area scanning to detailed inspection, providing high-definition intelligence in a compact and efficient system.
